Terms of Service
Effective date: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mobile Hibachi 4U website and your requests, reservations, purchases, and interactions relating to our mobile hibachi catering services. By using the website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accurate Information
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate contact, event, guest-count, location, access, menu, allergy, and payment information and to update us promptly when details change.
2. Estimates, Reservations, and Confirmation
Website pricing, availability, and instant estimates are informational until a reservation is accepted and confirmed. A reservation may require a deposit, completed booking form, written confirmation, or other requested information. Dates and chefs are not guaranteed until confirmation requirements are satisfied.
3. Pricing, Guest Counts, and Payment
Pricing may vary by market, travel distance, date, guest count, menu, upgrades, minimum-spend requirements, taxes, processing costs, and special requests. The customer is responsible for the final confirmed guest count and charges. Payment methods and due dates are communicated during booking. Gratuity is not included unless expressly stated.
4. Deposits, Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
Deposits, rescheduling, cancellations, credits, and refunds are governed by the terms disclosed during booking or in the written confirmation. Changes to date, time, address, menu, or guest count are subject to availability and may change the price. Late cancellations, inaccessible venues, unsafe conditions, or customer no-shows may result in forfeited payments or additional charges.
5. Customer Event Responsibilities
The customer must provide a lawful, accessible, and reasonably safe cooking area and any tables, chairs, plates, utensils, drinks, lighting, shelter, ventilation, permits, parking, or property authorization described in the booking instructions. The customer is responsible for guests, minors, pets, alcohol service, venue rules, and preventing interference with hot equipment, open flames, knives, cooking surfaces, and chef work areas.
6. Outdoor Conditions, Weather, and Safety
Mobile hibachi is generally designed for a suitable outdoor or properly approved area. Wind, rain, heat, cold, fire restrictions, building rules, local regulations, or unsafe conditions may require a location change, delay, rescheduling, menu adjustment, or cancellation. Our team may stop or refuse service when conditions are unsafe or unlawful.
7. Food Allergies and Dietary Requests
You must disclose allergies and dietary requirements before the event. We will make reasonable efforts to follow confirmed requests, but shared grills, utensils, preparation environments, suppliers, and ingredients create a risk of cross-contact. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies should evaluate the risk with an appropriate medical professional.
8. Conduct and Alcohol
Customers and guests must behave safely and respectfully. We may refuse or stop service because of threats, harassment, dangerous intoxication, illegal activity, unsafe conduct, or interference with staff or equipment. The customer is responsible for lawful alcohol possession and service.
9. Chefs, Vendors, and Service Adjustments
We may use employees, independent chefs, affiliates, or service providers. Chef assignments may change. Reasonable substitutions or operational adjustments may be made because of availability, safety, supply, travel, or other circumstances while preserving the essential nature of the confirmed service when practicable.
10. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Website text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, designs, and other content are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, republished, scraped, sold, or commercially exploited without written permission. You may use the website only for lawful personal or business booking purposes.
11. Prohibited Use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent reservations, collect data without permission, or use the website in violation of law.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all website information is error-free. Liability for claims relating to the website or services is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, inaccurate event information, venue conditions, or actions of your guests, except to the extent caused by our legally established fault.
14. Governing Rules and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws and mandatory consumer protections associated with the transaction and service location. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting each other.
15. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms. The effective date appears at the top. Questions may be sent to chef@mobilehibachi4u.com.
